HIM recently returned from a trip to Ukraine June 7th-16th. The team of nine arrived in Ukraine after 26 hours of traveling. Then it was a one and a half hour drive to Sevastopol on the Black Sea.

We did two Sunday church services, one on each end of our time there. During those services we had 3-4 saved, and several who received healing in their body.

During the week, the team went to a village while I taught in a Bible school lead and directed by Rev. Barry and Adrienne Jensen. The team did street witnessing in the village they visited- which was mainly Muslim. This was followed up by a tent meeting held by another pastor. The previous year the pastor had tried to get into this village but was prevented. He had set the tent up outside the town, but many rocks and bottles were thrown through the tent. This year he got permission to set up in the village. Our team passed out tracts and witnessed. During the evening tent meeting, about fourteen or more of the ones they witnessed to on the street came forward to accept Christ.

Meanwhile at the school, I began teaching out of my book, Through the Blood and Through the Flood which is translated into Russian now. The classes were Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, four hours each night. Then on Thursday night, the team members shared for the first half of class. During the second half we had a "Holy Ghost Meeting." (See video here)

In the daytime throughout the week, we went out on the streets and the beach to witness. We wore the "I Believe" shirts in Russian and passed out "I Believe" tracts in Russian. We saw several people saved (I was able to personally pray with ten people to receive Christ.) One boy received the Holy Spirit.

During the time at the beach on the Boardwalk we were able to use one of the restaurant's PA systems. One of the Ukrainian ladies is a well known singer in Ukraine and a graduate of the Bible school. They let her use their equipment. She began to sing worship songs and we witnessed to people passing by. In this picture, I am leading a man on a motor scooter to the Lord.

On Friday, Katrina Shaw, one the team members, held a women's meeting. It was well attended and she ministered to the ladies all day. Many were touched.

In between all of this we were able to see some sights (Greek ruins, an old Soviet sub base hidden in a mountain - James Bond stuff!) and swim in the Black Sea.

At the final church service before we headed to the airport, attendance had doubled in size from the previous week (from 30 to 60 ). Overall, it was a very successful trip that has laid the groundwork for future teams going to Ukraine.

Thank you all for your prayer and support - God as always is faithful to provide, and His people are always faithful to respond to the Holy Spirit when the need is presented!

God bless you all.

Be sure to watch the short video of our final evening at the school. Barry and Adrianne - the directors of RHEMA Ukraine - said they had never had a "Holy Ghost Meeting" like that at the school before. (When clicking on the link, you may want to use the 'download' option for faster viewing.)
